Itinerary
Day 1 – Ben Tre: Coconut Villages & River Life
Start from your hotel and travel to Ben Tre.
Cruise along the Mekong River by boat, stopping at a traditional brick kiln and a local coconut workshop to see how candy, oil, and other products are made.
Continue into the countryside to visit a mat weaving village, then ride a Xe Loi through quiet village roads.
Enjoy a home-cooked Vietnamese lunch in a garden setting.
In the afternoon, take a rowing sampan through narrow coconut canals — slow, shaded, and one of the most relaxing parts of the day.
Transfer to Can Tho. Evening at leisure.
Day 2 – Can Tho: Floating Market & Local Life
Early morning transfer to the river for a traditional wooden boat ride.
Visit Cai Rang Floating Market during its most active time, where local traders sell fruits and goods directly from their boats.
Enjoy a simple breakfast on the water — noodle soup or bánh mì with Vietnamese coffee.
Continue to a local noodle house to observe the traditional process.
Leave the main river and cruise into smaller canals in Phong Dien, where life is quieter and less visited.
Walk through a local village and join a traditional cake-making experience, then visit a floating house to understand daily life on the river.
Return to Can Tho.
Day 3 – Dong Thap: History, Culture & Calm Nature
Travel to Dong Thap.
Visit Xeo Quyt Forest, a peaceful wetland area known for its historical significance.
Explore the forest by rowing sampan, moving slowly through shaded waterways surrounded by dense vegetation — calm, quiet, and far from tourist crowds.
Discover hidden wartime structures and learn about the area’s history.
Continue to Kien An Cung Pagoda, known for its distinctive architecture and cultural importance.
Optional street food lunch in a local market.
Return to Can Tho.
Day 4 – Tra Su Forest: Flooded Landscape & Nature
Depart from Can Tho toward Tra Su Forest.
On the way, stop at a sugar palm area, rice fields (seasonal), and a Khmer pagoda to understand local culture.
At Tra Su, take a motorboat into the forest, then switch to a rowing sampan to move deeper into the flooded landscape.
Walk along the bamboo bridge and climb the observation tower for a wide view of the forest.
Enjoy lunch inside the forest.
